Rules order and change logs In ISA

When you’re managing ISA servers with a large number of rules, it’s good to stop and review the rule set order.

Have the simple allow All User rules and Publishing rules at the top moving down the more complex protocols and User authenticating at the bottom.

This keeps everything humming along and avoid odd deny errors in happening to old rules or the new ones.

Another though is to have a solid change log for updates to the rule sets. This should cover new additions or changes to any of the ISA objects, be it rules, objects, cache items and so on.

Makes life that bit easier six months down the line when your trying to figure out what the weird computer object was added for.
